Hi all,Just a quick update, after a long and interesting discussion with Samsung / Hanwha Techwin's European technical department over the last month.
Unfortunately, the Samsung product range currently is unsupported by the latest iteration of Mac OS X, El Capitan. This has been tested with an SNO-L6013R, SNO-L6083R and an SNV-L6083R.
When trying to view your camera via Safari, you will receive one of two errors:
- The Live View box will simply be an empty frame, with no video feed and the words 'Plugin Failed' in the centre
- When attempting to install the appropriate plugin when prompted to do so by the camera, installation will fail as El Capitan is not a supported OS X version by the plugin.
Samsung / Hanwha's response is as follows:
Wisenet Web Viewer Plugin For Mac Os X Mac
The feedback from our HQ confirms that our product is not currently compatible with OS EI Capitan although an improved FW is anticipated for release in October/November.
